That’s a freaking big F!

Tonight I asked my son to help me add a facebook logo (the famous f) to my splash page. He told me to find one I wanted, and I couldn’t. I told him it had to be cool – cool like my friend Craig has on his website (http://freethecircle.com/). Well, my son only knows how to do things one way – and thats as big and over the top. Looking forward to showcasing one of  The Circle’s songs on my website.  It’ll replace that snoozer royalty free song on there now.

Summertime Specials – Summer BOGO (Share a session with a friend)!

What better time to celebrate the summer with a good old fashioned BOGO from Shelley Edwards Photography!! Call it a Christmas In July Sale; Call it a Summer Sale; Call it AWESOME!!! Regardless of what you call it – JUST CALL! It’s time to take advantage of this sale.

Here’s how the Summer BOGO “Share a session with a friend” works – from July 12, 2009 to July 25, 2009 – Shelley Edwards’ “The Essentials” can be split between 2 friends .  Split?  Yes, split.  The “friends” can either have one fun session together and each receive a CD of all the images OR have their own sessions on separate days (yes, separate days – basically – 2 sessions for the price of one).  Oh wait, is that called a BOGO?  Well, I’m calling it that!!!  Share the session!  Share your session with a friend or another family! 

The catch – as you know – there always is one.  The “Summer BOGO” must be booked (and paid for) between July 12, 2009 and July 25, 2009. Portrait sessions must take place by November 30, 2009.

Who let the dogs out?

Ok – our fence was in BAD need of repair.   We had been propping the trampoline against the fence so it wouldn’t fall over.  I showed Michael, the hubby, a picture that my friend Cheryl posted on her facebook – it slammed up against her house just after that huge storm we had a few weeks ago.  Anyway, after a trip to Lowes, a fight with the clerk over the price of the 4x4x8 post (I won), he started the work.  He’s got the power tools, the cement (ok, not really, he had to go back for more), and as a good wife – I bought him a cold beer from time to time.  Ok – so I hear y’all laughing – I didn’t really do that.  I sat on the porch and watched while I drank the beer.  :)

The dogs LOVE our backyard.  They’re little bitty things, but they love to be outside.  Since the fence was down – we had to put them in their little protective area (aka – jail).  They HATE it.

Meet my furry babies – Ripley (the smart one) and Kelley (the one with personality).  Kelley is the white one.
